“Introducing our resident spotlight of the week, Shirley! Shirley has many hobbies such as needlepoint artwork where she has a lovely display of her pieces in her room and reading romance novels with her favourite author being Danielle Steel. Shirley moved in 5 years ago not knowing anyone at City View Retirement, but says “within a week she knew everyone, everyone was so friendly”. When Shirley is not outside enjoying the sun, you can also find her playing Bingo with the other residents. Shirley describes the staff as “fantastic” and gives a shout out to Jane, one of our wonderful housekeepers, who helps her take care of her room. Enjoy this picture of Shirley and her artwork!”
